School Library Impact Studies: A Review of Findings and Guide to Sources

On August 12, 2013, Frances Gretes of Gretes Research Services prepared School Library Impact Studies: A Review of Findings and Guide to Sources for the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation’s Baltimore Library Project. This thematic analysis of research findings cites 15 studies conducted by my Library Research Service and RSL Research Group colleagues and me.

The states in which these studies were done include Alaska (2000), Colorado (1993, 2000, 2010, 2012), Florida (2003), Iowa (2002), Idaho (2010), Illinois (2005), Indiana (2007), Michigan (2003), New Mexico (2002), Oregon (2001), and Pennsylvania (2000, 2012).
