On April 29, 2019, the PDK (Phi Delta Kappa) International Facebook page re-posted the March 2018 Phi Delta Kappan magazine link to the article titled Why school librarians matter: what years of research tell us. I co-authored this article with colleague Debra E. Kachel of Antioch University Seattle. It is just one of several articles in that issue of PDK geared to the theme, “the other adults who matter” in schools, in addition to classroom teachers.
Notably, this post is tagged to National Library Week, the American Association of School Librarians, the School Superintendents Association, the International Literacy Association, and the American Library Association.
